Youth Groups Condemns Political Violence

Youth alliance, a group founded by Ms. Esther Wamboi with the aim of uniting the youth voice early today morning called for a press conference to give their take on the heightened political activity in the country. Addressing a group of journalists at the Birch Resort in Thika Town Kiambu County the group led by Ms Esther Wambui condemned political violence meted on ODM presidential aspirant Jimmy Wanjigi as He tried to address a political rally in Migori County.

Speaking on the matter Ms Esther Wambui who is the founder of the organization said, “we as the youth of this country we will not allow some youth to be used by political class .”the youth have capacity to lead this country to right direction “.
The organization further appealed on all leaders to promote peace in the country. Also speaking during the press conference was James Wanjohi, a one time aspirant for the Juja constituency By election said,” Not only wealthy people are leaders and the youth must remain Unite and speak with one voice to clinch all political seats in the next general election in 2022.”
