YOUTH ENTERPRISE FUND TRAINS STAFF

The affirmative action fund Youth Enterprise Development Fund early today launched a five-day training program targeting the staff working for the parastal.
Speaking during the launch Acting Chief Executive of the fund Mr. Benson Muthendi said; “The training programme the first of its kind will target staff working for the fund in different regions and is the first training programme which has brought all staff working for the fund under one roof.
The meeting organized at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies was officially launched by the Cabinet Secretary for ICT Innovation and Youth Affairs Hon. Joe Mucheru and will focus on building the capacity of the staff in line with emerging realities affecting the lending landscape.

Speaking during the opening ceremony Cabinet Secretary for Information and Communication, Innovation and Youth Affairs Joe Mucheru said; ” Since inception the youth fund has disbursed Ksh 14.8 billion to 1.2 million youth across the country with Ksh 1.1 billion disbursed since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
