Nairobi, Kenya 8th December 2019
The decision by football governing body Football Kenya Federation ( FKF ) not to appeal the ruling of the John Ohaga led Sports Dispute Tribunal: which ordered, for the nullification of the results of the country football branch officials in an election conducted a month ago, the rescheduling of the national elections which was slotted for December this year, engagement of all stakeholders in the development of the Football Kenya Federation ( FKF ) electoral code 2019 which was released yesterday, re-registration of County Sports Associations which the president alleged is being currently conducted by an illegal parallel replica FKF – as made known during the press address, and re-constitution of the Football Kenya Federation Electoral Board whose members Chairman Mr. Edwin Wamukoya and Elynah Sifuna Shiveka raised in-eligibility suspicions.
Addressing the Media in press conference called by the Federation at a Nairobi hotel early yesterday Federation President Nick Mwendwa downplayed when such re-constitution would happen considering that the board must be in operation for a period of not less that 6 months before conducting the FKF National elections.

This may add a new spin by extending the term of the current officials if all conditions stipulated in the Sports Dispute Tribunal SDT ruling are met.
