NURSES STRIKE ENTERS DAY 36

The current ongoing Nurses strike has entered its 36th Day today. This is according to the acting National Chairman of the Kenya National Union of Nurses Joseph Ngwasi who was speaking early today at the Union Offices in Uchumi House along Agha-Khan Walk in Nairobi

According to Deputy Secretary General of The Nurses Union Maurice Onyango who also spoke during the press conference said, “The meeting that was supposed to be held with the Council of Governors to signing of the return to work to work formula did not take place” Mr Maurice accused the Council of Governors of developing cold feet in signing of a return to work formula.
The Deputy Secretary Urged the Nurses to stay put and not go to work until the return to work formula is signed by the Council of Governors.
