KIKWETU 2020 FESTIVAL TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THOSE WITHOUT VEHICLES IN DRIVE IN EVENT

The Covid 19 pandemic changed the way of living for many people around the world. It changed the way many companies operate, gave privileges to who could be and who should not be served by the said companies – Those without masks cannot access supermarkets, markets and various company premises for services- .

The annual event Kiwetu festival, an annual event which features indigenous Kenyan music and Culture which will be held on 3rd and 4th October at the Carnovore grounds is the lastest festival to bear the brunt of the pandemic.
In complying with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health to curb the spread of the Covid 19 virus, the festival which will feature 30 artistes will be exclusive for Kenyan residents with personal vehicles and will not be open to those who use public transport.
Tickets are currently available for at Ksh6000 for 4 seater saloon cars and ksh9000 for a SUV.
