Kenyans Plant Over 150 Million Trees on Monday

Kenyans from all walks of life to include members of the opposition and government officials planted over 150 Million Trees in Monday. The government through the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Interior declared Monday 13th November a National Tree growing day to allow Kenyans to plant trees in with the government’s agenda of planting 15 Billion Trees by 2032. While making his maiden address since his appointment on 4th October 2023 as government spokesperson Dr. Isaac Mwaura today afternoon confirmed that official tallying of the number of trees planted on Monday 13 November 2023 by Kenyana was 150 million with 10 Million of the Trees planted documented on the Jaza miti App which is available on the playstore. He was flanked by Deputy Government Spokesperson in charge of Mainstream Media Mwanaisha Chidzuga and Deputy Spokesperson in Charge of New Media Mr Gabriel Muthuma.
