while replying to a question posed on how Singapore used housing policies to promote cohesion; the Premier had this to say.
” There was really no compulsion to force people to live together. We Simply made very good homes which both the rich and the not so rich could afford but the only rule was that the apartments had to be mixed for the simple reason that let to market forces people would normally live where they like and most often in ethnic, tribal or religions groupings or cocoons.
Singapore has a total population of 5.61 Million, it has a gross domestic product of US$324 billion, Just Like Kenya it is strategically located in the heart of Asia, It’s top 5 trading partners are China Malaysia, The European Union, The United States and Indonesia and trade with these nations and Political entities guaranteed by 22 free trade and Economic Partnership Agreements,
