The Country Executive Director of ActionAid Ms Susan Otieno has said the ActionAid will continue to support the participation of women in the arena of politics

Speaking at a Nairobi Hotel during the Friends of Action Aid, an annual charity event held by ActionAid on the eve of the organizations’ annual general meeting late thursday evening, Ms Susan said; ” Either we get women elected or ensure that the constitutional provisions in the constitution is achieved”.

This years theme for the Friends of Action Aid fundraising event was young women participation in political spaces.
